Certified divers who have not dived in over a year are required to complete a refresher course to rebuild confidence and skills before returning to the water.

This experience offers the chance to encounter a diverse range of marine life, including turtles, eagle rays, Napoleon wrasse, and colourful reef fish. It’s an ideal introduction to the underwater world and a great way to discover whether scuba diving certification is the right next step for you.

Swim with the
Whales
Aitutaki is one of the few places in the world where you can enter the water to swim with and observe these majestic ocean giants.
Watch in awe from the boat or take the plunge for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share the water with these gentle giants.
You may witness incredible behaviours such as full-body breaches, tail slapping, and moments of calm as they rest at the surface.
